Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Turkish Library

The Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Turkish Library is located in Social Sciences Building 8 and holds books related to the following languages and disciplines: Arabic (literature, linguistics/dialectology, pedagogy), Islamic Studies (Arabic, Turkish, and Persian, including the Mahjoub Persian Library), Hebrew, and Semitics.

The library contains basic reference materials, including dictionaries and encyclopedias, as well as numerous standard texts both in the various languages and in European languages. Access is generally limited to graduate students in the department. The library is non-circulating. Seminars may be held in the room.
