Your support allows the Department of Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures to facilitate cutting-edge research and teaching in areas such as Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Turkish Language and Literature, Jewish and Islamic Studies, Egyptology, Cuneiform Studies, Ancient art and archaeology, and more.
The Candy Keller Fund supports high-achieving graduate students studying Egyptology at UC Berkeley.
The Maghsoodnia Memorial Fund develops public-facing seminars and colloquia about outstanding figures of classical poetry and supports an annual lecture and poetry reading session by and about prominent contemporary Persian poets.
