All graduates receiving or who have received degrees (B.A., M.A., C.Phil., and Ph.D.) in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026 are invited to participate. The ceremony will also recognize students receiving departmental awards and honors.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kierstan Neumann, Curator and Lecturer in the Department of Art History at the Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures, University of Chicago. Dr. Neumann received her PhD from the department in 2014 and has since established herself a leader in the field of Ancient Middle Eastern Art. Read more about Dr. Neumann here.
